I am very excited to add reviews of Children’s books to my blog!  I have been a book lover since I was 3…. earning the book worm award in second grade for always having my nose in a book!  I still love those books I read as I grew up…. now searching out copies to some day read to grand children!

    My favorite book as a youngster was Peppermint, the story of a cat in a candy shop. I still have a copy of it packed away.

    For me it was anything Dr Suess (still love them) yet really remember the years of about 7 to 11 where I read everything Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys, as well as owned every Judy Blume book.

    I wrote my first letter to an author in 7th grade and received a great response letter…. for the life of me I can not remember the title of the book!

    I found your blog today through the Bloggiesta event. I can’t wait for your Children’s Book Reviews. I’m a first grade teacher and I just love all the great books (for kids as well as adults) that are out there. One of my favorite parts of being a teacher, is seeing the “reading spark” get lit in a child. All it takes is one great book, and then they are hooked!

    Ah now you have touched a special spot with me, I adore children’s books!! I wonder why? :o )

    As a child, even more so now, Dr. Seuss is my favorite. Adhering to more of a story, Paddington Bear along with The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe fascinated me in my younger years. Then well….I wondered away from books for a loooong time. :o ( With lil boo though it’s a whole new world, reading is FUN!!
