Fun! I read (listened, actually) to Rebecca for the first time last fall, but it definitely won’t be the last! Enjoy!
Thanks
Yay! This is a great excuse for me to finally read Rebecca!!!
YAY Meg! Thats the way I feel that book has been on the shelf for so long!
I heard Rebecca on audio in april 2011, and I am not about to read it again now. But I will eagerly follow the progress. Happy reading!
Thanks Elida- curious, how was it on audio?
I actually bought Rebecca a few months ago, because I want to reread it. I’m still thinking about whether or not I can do a readalong….I’ll have to consider some things…lol
I just read it last month and LOVED it! I really want to participate but I’m not ready to re-read it right away. Maybe I can just enjoy the discussion instead.
Yes, come and join in the discussion!
Come on Laurel… I make it soooo easy all you have to do is show up on the 17th….. you have five glorious weeks

This is a book I picked for one of my challenges so I’m in!
Fantastic!!!!
I read it for the first time this year, soooooooo good, definitely a priceless novel, look forward to the party.
Nice definitely come and chat along with us
You are invited!
Well you got me again! I just joined for this read-a-long.
YAY!!!!!
That’s a great book for a readalong!!
It is one i have been meaning to read for years Jill!
I read this last year or I would be joining in. Loved it. Hope you guys have a great time!
Thanks Ryan – maybe catch you next time around… I have to look at the Secret Garden post… seems like you made a suggestion of a book you would be interested in doing a read a long with…
It was either Heidi or Black Beauty, both of which I have languishing on my shelves. I will be back to see what everyone has to say about Rebecca.
Ooh, I love Rebecca…but this is right in the middle of a group-read I’m hosting so I don’t think I can commit on this one. I look forward to reading what everyone else thinks, though!
Bummer Cheryl, would have been fun to have your take on this… but totally understand
Oh, this is so lucky! My in-person book group is reading Rebecca now and discussing it at the end of the month. So I\’m definitely in for the concurrent read-along as well! Thanks for hosting!
Christina that is so cool!!! Glad this works out to do it with you… or you with us
This book has been on my to-read list for … oh… most of my life! No more excuses, I’m in. I’ll be listening to the audiobook.
YAY!!!!!
I bet audio will be great!
I read Rebecca for the first time last? year; I do think it’s one you will enjoy … great pick for a read-a-long!
Thanks Julie – I have been wanting to read this for soooooo long!
I’m late to the party, but I’m jumping in! A dear friend of mine gave me a copy of Rebecca last year for Christmas. It is her favorite book, which her mother gave to her when she was young. Her mom passed away last week and as a tribute, I promised her I would read it.
Oh awesome Alison! I am thrilled to have you doing this with me!
Yay! I’m in! A little late but I’m in!
Hey Melissa, not late at all – jump right in!
Looking forward to the chat! I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve read the book over the years. And nothing can hold a candle to the black-and-white movie with Laurence Olivier and Joan Fontaine.
Nice!!! And thanks Mary for the movie tip… that comes after the book
Oh, I do love Rebecca. I’ve read it at least twice! I hope you enjoy it!
I’m going to try to do this, but I have no idea if I’ll succeed. I’m terrible at finishing readalongs.
Here’s my post: http://jillianreadsbooks2.wordpress.com/2012/06/20/rebecca-readalong-in-which-i-commit-to-very-likely-fail/
Thanks for hosting!
I am terrible at finishing too Jillian but I try to choose books that are not too big and not too hard to read
Hi Sheila, I signed up to join in the readalong but never posted my link in the linky. So today when I went to do it the linky is closed. So here is my link to my post http://booksnob-booksnob.blogspot.com/2012/07/rebecca-read-long.html#
I have already started the book and look forward to the discussion. I have to work and plan with my teacher team that day but plan to sneak in some discussion time when I can.
Hi Laura – thanks for letting me know! I will put a new linky up on the 15th when we party with Rebecca and its time to link out posts
