I hadn’t read any of the Austen books until a couple years ago. At first the language was very difficult to wade through–read about every other word and skimmed a little. By about the 3rd book, I thought “this doesn’t seem to be so hard to understand as those other ones.” I think you get used to the writing. So, keep it up! Kim

Loved this movie. Especially James. Okay, back to the movie. The ending was sad but you could get an inkling of how her writing themes and experiences begin to flourish.

I’ve been wanting to see this movie for a while. It’s always on On Demand, so I really don’t know why I haven’t. Maybe I will watch it for the challenge. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Becoming Jane is one of my fav movies. Ya I too wished her life also had the kind of ending her heroines have. Something is waiting for you over HERE

I’m glad you liked it! I love James McAvoy! I also was depressed with the ending, even though I saw it coming because I did know. But I willed it to be different. Haha …. it didn’t happen (obviously).
